One template - 5 different bags workshop
In this workshop, students will explore techniques for felting bags creation.
During the master class, each student will create one bag; however, they will also learn how to make five more bags utilizing the same original template.
Tentative program of the workshop
Day 1. Template and layers
• An introduction to how to create a bag on a flat template;• Creating a template, additional volume;• Prepare the layers;• Layout of wool;• Start to felt with the resist inside.
Day 2. Felting bag
• Rolling • Remove resist• Felting until planned size and shape of the bag is reached
Day 3. Accessories
● Giving the final shape to the bag● Installing accessories on the bag● Demonstration how to make 5 more bags utilizing the same original template
