If you were ever thinking about taking a wet felting class, this would be the class to take! Natalya is a fantastic instructor and will do everything in her power to ensure you are successful! We spend 10 days together! She mixed up our time with felting and sightseeing. We were able to have the opportunity to enjoy, explore and take in her beautiful island. We went from the shores to the mountains and the ruins. All so wonderful to experience!!

Cyprus is known for its spiritual places, which are visited by people from all over the world. Together we will experience the depth of spiritual culture and visit sacred places.

We will explore and learn how Lefkara lace is created. The tradition of lace-making dates back to at least the fourteenth century. Influenced by indigenous craft, the embroidery of Venetian courtiers and ancient Greek and Byzantine geometric patterns, Lefkara lace is made by hand in designs combining four basic elements: the hemstitch, cut work, satin stitch fillings and needlepoint edgings. The practice is passed down from mothers to daughters and today is protected by UNESCO.

Balanced program

The program balances workshop time, integrated into travelling, relaxing and private time.

Opportunity to learn felting techniques

Throughout the retreat, you will learn techniques to create felting clothing and will leave with a ready-to-wear vest or tunic for yourself.
